The Keeper of Secrets The Confidant Rahim Khan is Baba's best friend and business partner. He is the only one who knows the truth about Hassan's parentage. He watches Amir grow up and becomes his mentor, encouraging his writing. He knows about Amir's betrayal of Hassan but never reveals it.
