The Sinking Boat

The Final Struggle The Shark Attacks the Orca The shark rams the boat repeatedly, causing it to sink. Quint harpoons it three times, but the shark does not die. Entanglement As the boat goes down, Quint becomes entangled in a harpoon line wrapped around his leg. He is dragged overboard. Death Brody tries to cut the line but cannot reach Quint in time. Quint is pulled under, his eyes wide with terror. He drowns.
