Victor Pascow, a student, dies in the infirmary on Louis's first day, but his ghost returns to warn Louis about the dangers of the Micmac burying ground.

The Accident

A Fatal Jog The Collision Victor Pascow is hit by a car while jogging. He is brought to the infirmary with severe head injuries. Louis attempts to save him but fails. Dying Words Before dying, Pascow speaks cryptically about the Pet Sematary and calls Louis by name. Louis is shaken. Death Pascow dies at 10:09 AM. His body is sent back to New Jersey. But his spirit remains.

Ghostly Apparitions

A Restless Spirit First Dream Pascow appears in Louis's dream, leading him to the Pet Sematary and warning him not to go beyond the deadfall. Louis sleepwalks and finds evidence of the journey. Later Visits Pascow appears again after Norma's heart attack, but his visits cease after Church's resurrection. He returns in Ellie's dream to warn Rachel. Purpose Pascow's ghost serves as a guardian, trying to prevent the tragedy. But his warnings are ignored. He is a tragic figure caught between worlds.
