The First Restoration The Stone Lion In the courtyard, the first statue Aslan approaches is a stone lion. He breathes on it, and color returns; the heavy stone folds become living fur. The lion yawns and then frisks around Aslan. The Cascade of Life Aslan moves through the courtyard, breathing on statues one by one. Dwarfs, centaurs, dryads, and even a giant come to life. The courtyard transforms from a silent museum into a vibrant crowd. The Joy of the Rescued The creatures are overjoyed. They recognize Aslan as their savior. They follow him, ready to fight. The liberation not only frees the prisoners but also swells Aslan's army, turning the tide of the battle.
