Backyard Coercion

Backyard Coercion Escalation Skyler follows Becca, pins her down, and continues after repeated refusals. Threat His shifting tactics reveal entitlement beneath their former affection. The scene exposes the danger that Becca's familiar relationship has become.

Wolf Intervention

Wolf Intervention Rescue A huge blue-eyed wolf attacks Skyler and forces him away from Becca. Ambiguity The creature saves her but remains frightening enough to provoke another flight. Protection is introduced as an unknown force rather than a clearly safe relationship.

Dorm Retreat

Dorm Retreat Flight Becca runs back toward her dorm, carrying fear, guilt, and the image of the wolf's eyes. Unanswered Question She cannot determine whether the creature wanted to harm her or protect her. The unresolved rescue opens the possibility of Nathan's hidden identity.

Potential Mate

Potential Mate Suspended Future Becca reaches safety, but the wolf's intervention leaves her connected to an unseen protector. Narrative Direction Nathan's possible role as mate remains unresolved, preserving suspense rather than granting closure.
