The Betrayal of Jill

A Necessary Lie Sahaqiel and Selfia conceal Jill’s location and prepare a contingency for her corrupted transformation. They believe Jack would sacrifice everything if told the truth too early. Forced Mercy Sahaqiel uses Jack’s body to pierce Jill’s heart when the Khloros becomes a bomb. The act saves the battlefield but turns Sahaqiel’s protection into a source of trauma.
