Solomon Expeditions

The Lost Continent Project
The Solomon Expeditions begin as multinational searches into the Lost Lands. Publicly they promise discovery and security; secretly they become tools for locating the Infinity Machine.
Manufactured Purpose
Soldiers and explorers are recruited into a grand historical mission, but many are abandoned when their usefulness ends. This betrayal later creates the Lost Battalion and gives the High Table a pool of resentful followers.
The Buried Objective
The expeditions establish the infrastructure, records, and ideological language that Michael needs. Humanity’s search for knowledge becomes the route by which an ancient power reenters history.
High Table Manipulation

A Distributed Conspiracy
The High Table operates through pawns, corporations, military fronts, and religious institutions. Its members appear independent, yet their actions all serve Michael’s search for the machine.
Manufactured Wars
The organization turns national rivalries into cover for kidnappings, experiments, and resource extraction. The resulting wars exhaust governments while leaving the High Table free to move personnel and technology.
Jack as a Variable
Jack is both weapon and unforeseen threat. Michael’s designs account for his powers but fail to account for Lilith’s independence, making the conspiracy vulnerable to the one soul it tried to hide.
The Heaven Fortress

A Buried Citadel
Heaven rises from beneath the Lost Lands, revealing that the expedition has reached an ancient angelic stronghold. Its engines and barriers convert buried history into a moving weapon.
Coalition Sacrifice
The coalition spends thousands of lives and loses Python’s airship to halt the fortress. The crash prevents Heaven from fully ascending but leaves the world’s armies devastated.
The Door Below
The fallen fortress exposes the route to the Infinity Machine. Every battlefield loss therefore becomes part of the final approach, binding military sacrifice to an older metaphysical conflict.
The Sanctuary Confrontation

The Sealed Sanctum
Jack and Sahaqiel reach the Inner Sanctum and discover Michael waiting beside a second Sahaqiel. The apparent victory is revealed as a trap designed to use them as keys.
Adam Awakened
Michael begins releasing Adam, the First Awakened, whose presence threatens both angels. Jack rejects the expected sacrifice and escapes with Sahaqiel into the machine itself.
A Four-Sided Battle
Inside the machine, Jack, Sahaqiel, Lilith, Michael, and Adam collide. The battle shifts from physical survival to control over the architecture of existence.
The Shutdown

Choosing the Kill Switch
Lilith accesses the Infinity Machine and discovers Eve’s unfinished repair plan. Jack chooses to interrupt the system rather than let Michael control it or let Adam continue hunting.
A World Without Mana
The Infinity Machine Kill Switch removes mana, ends the Apostles’ immediate advantage, and disables the technological civilization built around magic. Victory therefore resembles catastrophe.
Rebuilding the Future
The shutdown resurrects selected dead and leaves societies to reconstruct without their former powers. Jack later restores controlled access through the Angel System, converting an ending into a cautious beginning.
