Jade Heavens

CEO's Beloved Honey Girl

Jade Heavens is a nightclub and social venue whose atmosphere of drinking, games, and public spectacle briefly disguises the instability of the relationships brought inside it. Its decisive narrative function is to turn leisure into confrontation: a proposed evening of dice and drinks leads almost immediately to news that a woman has beaten a customer, a crowd gathers around the disturbance, and several damaged or conflicted relationships become visible at once.

Setting and Social Function

Jade Heavens appears after a dinner at which Cheng Chuchu has watched the affectionate behavior around her until the atmosphere has become oppressive and no one touches the food. Once the meal is effectively over, Asustek proposes going to Jade Heavens to drink and play dice. Prime Minister Lu first seeks Su Xiangcheng’s opinion, and she obediently agrees, establishing the venue as an extension of the group’s social ritual rather than as an isolated setting.

The club also gathers people whose public identities and private tensions do not comfortably coexist. Song Yun’er uses the occasion to question Hua Shuo about his relationship with Cheng Chuchu, while Hua Shuo answers that he is innocent and cannot persuade her otherwise. The exchange makes Jade Heavens a place where flirtation, loyalty, and reputation are tested in front of companions rather than discussed privately.

The Assault and the Crowd

The evening changes when a waiter rushes in with the alarm that a customer in the group’s room has been beaten by a woman. Because Cheng Chuchu is the only person absent from the room, the report immediately points suspicion toward her. The large man in the party follows the waiter outside, and Su Xiangcheng, worried about what has happened, asks Prime Minister Lu to accompany her.

By the time they reach the scene, the most intense part of the fight has probably already ended. The location is surrounded by onlookers, but the visible aftermath is enough to expose the conflict’s emotional stakes. Hua Mu is protecting Cheng Chuchu, whose hair is disordered and whose face is wet with tears. At the same time, Lin Yanche is holding Su Qingrou tightly while she remains impulsive and tries to move toward Cheng Chuchu. Her insistence that she and Lin Yanche no longer have anything to do with each other gives the public disturbance the force of a rupture made physically visible.

Dispersal and Disappearance

Hua Shuo tries to restore order by telling the crowd to disperse, and the spectators quickly withdraw with scornful sighs. The dispersal does not resolve the underlying dispute; it merely removes the public witnesses. Once the crowd has gone, Hua Shuo realizes that Lin Yanche and Su Qingrou have disappeared without a trace.

Song Yun’er arrives late and immediately searches for Lin Yanche, asking Prime Minister Xun where he is. Her anxious reaction contrasts with the earlier convivial plan for drinking and dice. Jade Heavens therefore functions as a pressure chamber: the group enters expecting entertainment, but the venue converts private attachments into public evidence, then ends the scene by concealing the people at its emotional center.

Narrative Significance

The scene at Jade Heavens links bodily disorder, damaged dignity, and unstable romantic alliances. Cheng Chuchu’s disheveled appearance and tears show the aftermath of violence without requiring the fight itself to be narrated in full, while Lin Yanche’s physical hold on Su Qingrou conflicts with her verbal rejection of their relationship. The nightclub’s entertainment framework—drinking, dice, teasing, and social observation—makes the reversal sharper. What begins as recreation becomes a confrontation over separation, protection, and possession.

The location’s significance also extends beyond the club itself. Elsewhere in the surrounding narrative, Su Xiangcheng is confronted with the sight of Su Qingrou crying silently and bearing deep and shallow kiss marks, alongside a timely image of Lin Yanche embracing Song Yun’er; later, Su Xiangcheng develops a fever after a night without sufficient covering and has to ask Manager Wu to buy antipyretic medicine; and Su Qingrou proposes a preliminary engagement ceremony with Jin Zhengnan for the benefit of their two companies while invoking the protection of a brother against Lin Yanche. Read beside these developments, Jade Heavens belongs to a wider pattern in which social venues and family arrangements expose how affection, bodily vulnerability, marriage, and corporate interests are repeatedly entangled.
