HBO

HBO is linked to Kristen Roupenian’s first book, Cat Person, as the intended home of an anthology series adaptation. The book’s promotional text presents the series as a future project, not as an already released production.

Connection to Cat Person

The book’s author biography describes Cat Person as Roupenian’s first book and says it had been sold in 26 countries. It also states that the book was destined to become an anthology series for HBO, establishing the organization’s connection to the collection through a planned screen adaptation.

Anthology Adaptation

The announcement characterizes the proposed adaptation as an anthology series, rather than specifying a single story, cast, or production schedule. It provides no further details about HBO’s role or the project’s development.
