The Spirit Collar

The Spirit Collar A Strange Reward Broccoli learns that the Enchanted Cheshire Cat’s Collar can summon a spirit cat. The item is initially confusing, costly in mana, and almost useless until she discovers how to activate it. A New Presence Orange appears as a silent, semi-transparent kitten. The summon is not powerful, but her existence changes Broccoli’s solitary journey into shared travel.

The Naming of Orange

The Naming of Orange Affection before Utility Broccoli names the kitten Orange because of her color and because the name fits Broccoli’s vegetable identity. The choice is playful rather than tactical. Companionship Defined Orange’s value comes from presence, curiosity, and emotional comfort. Broccoli treats her as a friend before knowing whether she can fight or communicate.

The Pixie Chase

The Pixie Chase Play among Friends Orange stalks Mister Blue through the air, turning the road into a miniature chase scene. The spirit cat’s behavior gives Broccoli a domestic, almost pet-like moment amid dangerous travel. Social Integration Orange is no longer merely Broccoli’s summon. She participates in Broccoli’s growing social world and develops relationships independent of her owner.

Orange’s Warning

Orange’s Warning Sensing Danger Orange repeatedly blocks Broccoli’s path before the madness-inducing creature attacks. Her behavior shows awareness that Broccoli’s ordinary judgment is being compromised. A Quiet Guardian Broccoli initially misunderstands the warning, but later recognizes that Orange can protect her through instinct. The companion’s power lies in noticing what Broccoli’s optimism overlooks.

Orange and Amaryllis

Orange and Amaryllis Shared Trust Amaryllis initially dismisses Orange as a useless summon, yet she protects and carries the kitten during dangerous missions. Orange also accepts Amaryllis’ care without protest. A Bridge between Friends Orange softens the relationship between the two girls. Caring for the spirit cat gives them a shared responsibility before they are ready to call each other friends.
