Hartford

Daisy Jones & the Six

Hartford is remembered as the setting of a crucial interruption in The Six’s tour: after the band finishes a show there, Teddy Price arrives backstage and takes Billy Dunne away to return home, where Camila Dunne has gone into labor. The stop turns a concert night into the beginning of Billy’s journey toward fatherhood.

The Tour Stop

On November 28, The Six performs in Hartford. Teddy is waiting backstage when the set ends. He tells Billy that he is going home and holds on to him as they make their way toward the plane. Hartford is therefore the last point in the account where Billy is still with the band before Teddy redirects him toward Camila.

The Journey Home

Teddy’s intervention follows Billy’s increasingly visible difficulty with sobriety: during the final stretch of the tour, Billy had been forgetting words onstage, and Eddie Loving doubted he would get sober. Camila’s labor changes the immediate stakes. After landing, Teddy drives Billy to the hospital; even when they are double-parked outside the lobby, Billy cannot bring himself to walk through the doors and meet his child. Hartford’s significance lies in that departure: it is where the tour’s momentum is broken by a family emergency, though Billy’s struggle to cross into fatherhood continues beyond the city.
