Ardanwen
De brief voor de KoningArdanwen is Tiuri’s horse and a quiet presence in the story’s closing journey. Led by the reins rather than ridden, he accompanies Tiuri and Piak as they walk east toward the City of Dagonaut after Tiuri has fulfilled his mission and proved his worth as a knight.
Appearance in the Closing Journey
At the end of the narrative, Tiuri walks slowly toward the City of Dagonaut with Piak beside him and Ardanwen at the reins. The detail places the horse alongside the two companions as they set out toward the east, but gives him no spoken or independent action in this final scene.
Narrative Role
Ardanwen’s presence makes the homeward movement concrete: Tiuri does not travel alone, but brings his horse with him as he and Piak continue toward the city. The closing image is understated, presenting the three companions in motion rather than describing a formal arrival or a further adventure.
