End of 2014

Late 2014 is the publication date attached to Exorcist Road, the novella that begins the two-book sequence. The date refers to the novella’s publication, not to a stated time in the story’s fictional chronology.

Publication Context

The author’s note says that Exorcist Road was published in late 2014 and appears in the volume with minor revisions. For the paperback edition, this volume marks the novella’s first appearance in print; the note distinguishes that format-specific milestone from the earlier publication date.

Place in the Two-Book Sequence

The volume pairs Exorcist Road with Exorcist Falls, a new, full-length sequel. The author describes the two stories as highly dependent on one another, while noting that Exorcist Falls can be read as a standalone novel and recommending that readers encounter the books in order. The note gives no corresponding publication date for the sequel, so late 2014 specifically dates Exorcist Road, not the complete two-book volume or the events in either story.
