Teodoro
Gente que viene y ¡Bah!Teodoro, known as Teo, is a nurse whose courage and physical resourcefulness make him pivotal in saving Fin after a motocross crash. At the track, he moves from being regarded with suspicion to becoming the person Fin directly credits with saving his life.
Identity and Introduction
Teodoro is introduced approaching at a brisk pace while Débora protests that she does not want him to see her son, Óscar. The scene establishes unease around his presence, but does not explain its cause. Teodoro is identified as a nurse, a detail that later makes his offer to accompany the injured Fin especially practical.
Rescue at the Track
When Fin is trapped beneath motorcycles during the race, Teodoro runs toward him. Two riders fly over him; instead of trying to cross the track upright, he crawls forward to avoid being hit. Juan also moves to help, but the motorcycles still racing make it difficult for him to reach Fin quickly. Teodoro’s short stature, initially treated as an unlikely advantage, lets him advance through the danger and reach his nephew.
Using a strength that astonishes the watching family, Teodoro frees Fin from the weight of the motorcycles. He speaks to him, and Fin lifts his head and answers: he is alive. The family’s immediate terror gives way to relief, while Teodoro’s action turns the danger of the race into a rescue.
Fin’s Recognition and the Aftermath
Once the riders stop and the injured are reached by the teams, Juan, and his firefighter friends, Teodoro offers to go with Fin, explaining that he is a nurse. Fin looks at him and accepts, saying that the motorcycle had pinned him so he could not move and that Teodoro saved his life. Teodoro answers modestly that it was nothing.
As the paramedics put Fin into the ambulance, Bea lifts Teodoro inside as if he were a small child. Débora watches, bewildered and overwhelmed, while Juan approaches her. The episode leaves Teodoro defined not by the initial apprehension around his arrival but by his calm, hands-on intervention and the gratitude Fin expresses afterward.
