A Core Made From Death

A Core Made From Death Yuan’s bullet-core replaces the normal cultivation core he never possessed. An Unnatural Beginning Its tendrils begin spreading through his skull, nerves, and blood, turning a murder weapon into the basis of his survival. A Question of Self Yuan accepts the power but wonders whether the core is a seed growing within him or a parasite taking him over.

Metal Reaches the Body

Metal Reaches the Body Yuan’s metal roots spread from his head into his spine and limbs as he absorbs the Thunderlands’ qi. Technique and Transformation Elemental Infusion becomes possible only where his body has been reinforced enough to bear it. A Price He Accepts He decides that a less human appearance is tolerable if it lets him escape the helplessness of his first life.

A New Body’s Cost

A New Body’s Cost Yuan reaches the Third Coil by consuming Gatling Man’s bullet-core and undergoes an extreme physical transformation. Strength as Metamorphosis Circuits, exhaust ports, and steel muscles replace more of his anatomy, letting him survive battles that once would have killed him. Power Under Pressure The sudden influx also threatens to destroy him, showing that advancement is not simply an uncomplicated reward.

A Living Weapon

A Living Weapon Yuan engraves the Gun Path into his circuits and briefly becomes his spiritual form. The Temptation of Form The Gun Demon Incarnation feels more natural than his ordinary body, raising the risk that he will identify too closely with violence. Anchors of Self His relationships with Holster, Orient, Revolver, Arc, and the train’s community help him remain Yuan rather than dissolve into the path’s history.

Beyond the Human Vessel

Beyond the Human Vessel Yuan returns as the Gunman in a perfected demonic form that no longer requires the old safety of human flesh. A Changed Relationship to Power The Gun is now part of him, but its independent curse no longer controls his will. A Chosen Identity He remains recognizable through his loyalties and duties, demonstrating that transformation need not erase the person who chooses how to act.
