During the Quidditch match against Ravenclaw, Harry sees the silhouette of a large black dog—the Grim—in the topmost, empty row of seats, a vision that distracts him and precedes his fall. Later, after the final Quidditch match, Harry dreams of walking through a forest, following a silvery-white creature, and wakes to find Ron shouting that Sirius Black has broken into their dormitory. The tower is also where Harry and Hermione, using the Time-Turner, fly Buckbeak up to the window of Flitwick's office—the thirteenth window from the right of the West Tower—to rescue Sirius Black.
