Women Disappear

Women Disappear A reckless journey Adrienne and Mena drive away without waiting for their husbands, believing that they can manage a simple shopping trip themselves. Their absence is discovered When neither woman returns, Drayton and Robert recognize that the disappearance may be more than a delay and begin searching for them.

The Family Mobilizes

The Family Mobilizes Evidence points to force The abandoned car and missing clothing suggest deliberate abduction rather than an ordinary breakdown, leaving the family without a reliable scent trail. A dangerous pursuit begins Wilder, Lycell, Drayton, and Robert prepare to enter unfamiliar territory, knowing that involving human authorities may expose their secret.

Lycell Is Mauled

Lycell Is Mauled A sudden attack A black bear catches Lycell off guard while he is focused on Adrienne’s danger and badly wounds him. The rescue loses strength Drayton and Robert have to treat Lycell, forcing the group to continue with fewer fighters and greater uncertainty.

Drayton’s Fight

Drayton’s Fight A taunt sparks combat A beta insults the Samsas and threatens Adrienne, prompting Drayton to attack before the group can obtain a clear account of Bane’s movements. A costly victory Drayton kills the beta but suffers serious injuries, and Wilder has to keep the remaining wolves from turning the confrontation into a wider massacre.

Wilder Tracks Alone

Wilder Tracks Alone Following a faint trail Wilder pursues Bane alone, reading tracks and gathering reports from a roadside motel while the rest of the family treats its wounded. Rescue becomes personal His determination to retrieve Adrienne is undermined by jealousy and fear, setting the stage for a reunion that may itself become a new conflict.
