The Substitution

The Substitution
A Green-eyed entity changes into Y/N and walks into the castle while the real Y/N is hidden behind a bed.
Infiltration
The disguise exploits the household’s familiarity with Y/N. The vampires must now question the person whose presence they normally protect.
Delayed Discovery
The double escapes their immediate suspicion, proving that resemblance can be more dangerous than open attack.
The Missing Scent

The Missing Scent
The vampires hear Y/N scream and discover the false version behind a locked door, while the real Y/N has already been taken.
Sensory Confusion
Their supernatural senses detect something familiar but cannot identify the deception quickly. The house’s security systems are rendered unreliable.
Emotional Cost
The group realizes that their concern for Y/N can be turned against them. The kidnapping is successful because the false figure occupies the space where they expect her to be.
The Stone Prison

The Stone Prison
The real Y/N wakes in a doorless stone chamber chained to a wall.
Total Isolation
No visible exit, scarce food, cold ground, and repeated blood feedings reduce her ability to resist. The prison is designed to make dependence feel inevitable.
False Release
Jackson later unlocks the chain and promises freedom, but the removal simply begins another transfer. Every apparent exit is controlled by her captors.
The Failed Search

The Failed Search
BTS follows Y/N’s scent through hidden walls but cannot see her when the stone door opens.
Spatial Deception
The faction conceals the room through illusion, making the rescuers pass within reach of the captive.
Despair
Y/N reaches toward them silently and watches the door close. The failed rescue deepens her belief that she has been abandoned again.
The Royal Transfer

The Royal Transfer
The faction moves Y/N from the underground forest to a tower and then toward the Ritual Throne.
Escalating Confinement
Her surroundings become more magnificent as her freedom decreases. The movement from hut to tower frames captivity as preparation for royalty.
Imposed Identity
Jackson names her their king, attempting to replace her self-understanding with a title that serves the faction’s political purpose.
