Candy describes having come from another MC a couple of years before she tells the story. She recalls that the club girls there were not treated well, and that the mistreatment was visible even in the bar run by the club’s president. Her account presents the rescue through the experience of a woman who had lived in that environment and then chose to leave it.

Grizzly’s Intervention and the Choice to Leave

Grizzly was in the bar when he saw men mistreating the girls. He intervened, then told those who wanted a better place while remaining in biker life that they were free to come with him, after seeing what it meant to be a Butcher. The offer linked departure from the girls’ existing circumstances with the possibility of continuing in the same broader world under a different club.

Candy’s Decision and the Aftermath

The girls did not all make the same choice: some left with Grizzly and some remained. Candy was among those who went with him. In her recollection, she is emphatic that she has never regretted that decision, making her own departure the clearest stated outcome of the rescue.
