The Missing Poster

The Missing Poster A Child’s Request Saffra has been searching for Monocle, a missing cat belonging to Daisy. The task is humble compared with the Cataclysm Campaigns, but it reflects Saffra’s instinct to help vulnerable people. A Divination Spell Vivisari locates the cat through a damaged ball of yarn. The spell reveals Monocle hiding in the city, but Vivi pretends that the divination failed. A Strange Kindness Vivi wants Saffra to receive the credit, so she transports the cat invisibly and places him where Saffra can discover him. Her scheme shows both genuine care and an inability to accept praise directly.

The Unmasking Hint

The Unmasking Hint A Near Success Saffra returns Monocle to Daisy and refuses the reward, gaining a rare moment of happiness after the Morningstar trauma. Vivi watches from concealment, satisfied that her plan has worked. A Child’s Question Daisy casually asks whether Vivi helped with the rescue. The question threatens to expose Vivi’s carefully staged failure. An Unresolved Suspicion Saffra gives a plausible explanation and does not identify the truth. Nevertheless, the episode foreshadows the difficulty of hiding Vivisari’s identity from someone increasingly close to her.
