Beloved Son

Beloved Son
Divine image
The Son sits at the Father's right hand as the visible expression of divine wisdom and glory. His relation to God is one of unity without erasing distinction.
Authority received
He is appointed ruler over Heaven and is honored not as an arbitrary favorite but as the agent through whom creation and judgment proceed.
Mediator Offered

Mediator Offered
Voluntary substitution
When no other heavenly being can bear human forfeiture, the Son offers life for life. His offer joins justice and compassion within a single willing person.
Exile accepted
He agrees to leave the Father's bosom and enter human history. The mission is costly precisely because divine love chooses vulnerability rather than merely issuing pardon.
Judge and Savior

Judge and Savior
Sent to Eden
The Son descends to judge Adam and Eve but does so as their mediator. He receives the facts of transgression while preparing mercy within the sentence.
Clothing the guilty
He clothes the fallen pair and presents the act as a sign of deeper righteousness. Judgment remains visible, yet the judge begins the work of restoration.
Incarnate Obedience

Incarnate Obedience
Human nature assumed
The Son becomes human through the Virgin Mary and takes Adam's place as the new head of humanity. Divine and human natures meet without the Son abandoning divine identity.
Law fulfilled
He obeys where Adam disobeyed and accepts the death attached to human sin. Redemption therefore rests on representative faithfulness, not on human self-repair.
Triumphant King

Triumphant King
Death defeated
The Son rises, ascends, and receives universal authority. His victory exposes Satan's apparent triumph as temporary and turns death into a passage toward life.
Final sovereignty
At the world's end he returns to judge, destroy evil, and renew creation. His kingship completes the authority announced before the rebellion.
