The Heavenly Sentence

The Heavenly Sentence
Justice acknowledged
God declares that Adam's transgression cannot simply be ignored. Death remains the moral consequence of disobedience, preserving the seriousness of the command.
Mercy prepared
The Son accepts the role of mediator before the sentence is enacted. Divine justice therefore opens toward remedy without denying the reality of guilt.
The Son's Offer

The Son's Offer
Life for life
The Son offers himself to bear human mortality and satisfy the demands of justice. His voluntary submission makes redemption an act of love rather than an external bargain imposed upon him.
A new head
The Son will join divine and human nature and become a second root for humanity. Adam's failure spreads guilt, while the Son's merit offers restored life to those who receive it.
The Cross Foreseen

The Cross Foreseen
Obedience completed
Michael explains that the future Redeemer will fulfill God's law and endure the death owed by sinners. The victory will come through obedience rather than superior violence.
Enemies disarmed
The Cross of Christ will nail sin and the accusing law to itself, breaking Satan's authority over those who trust the satisfaction. The apparent defeat becomes the instrument of victory.
Resurrection and Mission

Resurrection and Mission
Death reversed
The Redeemer rises before corruption can claim him and appears to his disciples. Resurrection confirms that mortality is not the final meaning of the human story.
Salvation extended
The Apostles receive the charge to teach all nations and mark faith through baptism. The promise given through Abraham now moves outward toward every people.
Renewed Creation

Renewed Creation
Judgment completed
The returning Son judges the living and the dead, defeats Satan, and ends the rule of sin and death. Judgment separates destructive powers from the redeemed community.
Paradise surpassed
The old creation is purged and remade as New Heaven and New Earth. Restoration does not merely recover Eden; it fulfills the original purpose in a world founded on righteousness, peace, and love.
