Rafael Luna

Rafael Luna is a thirty-nine-year-old Independent senator from Colorado, the newest and most dazzling figure in national politics, a man whose public image as a movie star who tripped and fell sideways into politics conceals a past he has spent decades burying. He is Alex Claremont-Diaz's favorite senator, the mentor who took Alex under his wing, and, ultimately, the man whose long-hidden secret gives the Claremont campaign the weapon it needs to destroy Jeffrey Richards. Luna's arc moves from beloved political darling to haunted confidant to decisive witness, and in that movement he becomes the hinge on which the entire presidential race turns.
