Jade World

Rock Falls, Everyone Dies

Jade World is the final creative state of the rock’s planetary existence: a world formed after its ascent beyond stone, planet, and destruction into deliberate, patient creation. Its decisive significance lies in the reversal it embodies. The rock once understood the cosmos as a hierarchy of differently scaled stones, but as a Planet it begins to make beauty from that material unity, shaping mountains, plants, people, music, and a living jade civilization over eons and millennia.

From Rock to Planet

Jade World becomes possible only after the rock’s long progression through the system’s increasingly expansive stages. Its stillness eventually makes it eligible for the Cultivator subclass, turning what appears to be five hundred years of inactivity into a form of development. Later, it recognizes that the world beneath it and the glowing celestial body above it are both rocks, differing only in scale and power. This realization changes the meaning of its growth: advancement is no longer simply escape from a lowly mineral condition, but an expansion of what a rock can be.

The transition into planetary existence is formalized when the system announces that the rock is now a level 12 Planet and begins the planetary fusion process. The rock accepts the prompt without examining the results, and the surrounding matter merges into it as it grows into the largest entity in its immediate world. The resulting state is not merely a larger body. It gives the rock the scale and abilities required to become an active shaper of terrain, life, and atmosphere.

The First Gesture Toward Beauty

The earliest sign of Jade World’s character appears when the rock watches a vast field of crushed material orbit the planet after catastrophe. As the surface calms and the former hellfire gives way to silence, it experiments with the familiar tapestry of gravity. Rather than using gravity only to attack, move, or control matter, it paints patterns in the sky, gathering the orbiting rocks into three rings.

The rings spin and dance in increasingly recognizable forms, and the rock experiences a faint spark of beauty in their motion. Their movement becomes almost rhythmic, as though following a song still present in its memory. When the song changes into something new, the Planet stirs to the possibility that it, too, can create beauty. Its carved mountain becomes an early, clumsy work of art: imperfect, but evidence that planetary power can produce more than destruction or defense.

A World Sculpted Across Ages

The rock begins creating slowly, experimenting and leveling over eons and millennia. Its first attempts at plant life are misshapen forms resembling melted candlesticks, but persistence turns crude experimentation into deliberate artistry. Eventually it sculpts trees from gemstones, giving them emerald leaves that ring in the wind like chimes.

The mountains are shaped to support those trees and to direct the wind through labyrinthine peaks. Terrain therefore becomes part of an instrument. The mountains guide the air, the gemstone trees answer with sound, and the three rings continue their motion above the world, adapting their patterns to the melody below. The Planet’s geography is no longer passive scenery: it is arranged as an integrated system of material form, movement, and music.

The Creation of Jade People

The world’s music is still incomplete because it lacks singing. To provide voices, the rock turns toward people and draws on its Natural Selection and Origin of Species skills. Its model is the jade beauty it remembers, a form it wants to recover and preserve within the new world.

It draws veins of jade from deep within itself and sculpts them into living figures. The first jade people rise as small, rough forms, far removed from the idealized shapes in the Planet’s imagination. The rock guides their development, adjusting them until they evolve and begin shaping themselves into forms it could not have anticipated. Their hair is made from fine gemstones, and their jade skin is polished until it gleams in the sun.

The people form a united society because the rock has no conception of men and women or of distinctions between them. Yet the rock does not need to teach them how to create culture. Seeing the world around them, they begin to sing on their own. Their music completes the relationship between the living inhabitants and the planetary environment: the people respond to the world’s beauty rather than merely occupying it.

A Living Musical Planet

Over immense spans of time, Jade World fills with people, animals, plants, mountains, lakes, and forests. Life multiplies across a planetary body that the rock has consciously designed, while songs accumulate and spread through it. The Planet listens to every song and turns its rings to each tune, making the celestial structures part of the world’s ongoing musical life.

The rock feels content with this creation, though its satisfaction is tempered by memory. The new beauty cannot feel as fresh as the first flame of beauty, because the first experience retains the force of first love. Even so, the Planet takes pleasure in the world it has made: a realm of jade, gem, and stone that sings. Conflict and war continue within it, but the rock does not treat those events as a failure of the world. Even warriors sing as they charge into battle and bloodshed, allowing violence itself to enter the Planet’s vast, unsettling composition.

Meaning of the Jade World State

Jade World completes the rock’s movement from inert object to world-making presence. Its awakening as a Cultivator, its recognition that everything is fundamentally rock, and its planetary fusion all prepare for this final change in purpose. Power remains essential, but power is now measured by what can be shaped, sustained, and made beautiful rather than only by what can be defeated.

The state also preserves the rock’s defining material philosophy while transforming its emotional range. A planet is still a rock, just as a star and a grain of sand belong to the same underlying order, but scale now enables responsibility and imagination. The rock can turn gravity into visual design, geology into musical architecture, gemstones into vegetation, and its own body into the substance of a people. Jade World is therefore both a literal planet and an artistic project: a self-aware act of creation undertaken by matter that has learned to value beauty, song, and time.
