Magma Core Realm
Rock Falls, Everyone DiesMagma Core Realm is the fifth cultivation realm attained by the rock, a breakthrough that transforms accumulated loot into an internal furnace of power. The realm is introduced immediately after the rock absorbs the rare magical equipment carried by four adventurers, making it both a reward for opportunistic growth and a concrete sign that its strange path of advancement has moved beyond ordinary experience-based leveling.
Definition and Conditions
Magma Core Realm is a cultivation stage rather than merely another numerical level. Its defining condition is the formation or strengthening of a burning core at the stone’s center, whose heat and energy become measurable system attributes. The breakthrough follows the activation of Stolen Cultivation, which converts absorbed artifacts into power. In this way, cultivation is presented as a process of material transformation: equipment that once belonged to adventurers becomes energy inside the rock, and external treasure is reconstituted as internal heat.
The realm is reached at Cultivator Level 5. The system records the advancement separately from the rock’s ordinary character level, showing that two growth tracks operate at once. The rock can continue receiving experience and leveling up while also progressing through cultivation realms, allowing game-like progression and bodily or elemental transformation to overlap rather than replace one another.
The Breakthrough
The immediate cause of the breakthrough is the rock’s discovery of four adventurers loaded with rare magical equipment. It absorbs the treasures and converts them through Stolen Cultivation, with the system announcing that artifact conversion is complete before registering both a level increase and the new cultivation status. The sequence gives the realm a distinctly transactional logic: possession becomes absorption, absorption becomes power, and power becomes a new state of being.
The numerical result is substantial. The rock reaches 100 out of 100 Magic, attains Cultivator Level 5, and enters Magma Core Realm. Its Energy Level rises to 100,000 watts, while Core Heat reaches 700 K. Progress toward the next realm is shown as 0 out of 1,000, establishing that the breakthrough is a completed threshold but not an endpoint. The system immediately replaces arrival with another measurable distance to cross.
Internal Power and Perception
The realm changes the rock’s interior as well as its status display. Its burning central core shines hotter than before and fills the stone with an unparalleled amount of energy. The language of the scene makes the power both physical and almost emotional: the core’s heat is visible as a transformation in the rock, while the increase in energy accompanies its celebration of the breakthrough.
Yet the rock’s joy is not caused only by the absorbed treasures, the new level, or the heightened temperature. Its attention turns down the mountainside, where it sees the bottom. The new realm therefore coincides with a change in practical possibility. Greater internal energy does not remain an abstract statistic; it strengthens the rock at the moment when its long descent is becoming imaginable as a concrete journey toward a destination.
Relation to the Leveling System
Magma Core Realm belongs to a broader progression loop in which combat assistance, discoveries, and unusual acts produce experience, levels, and new capabilities. Earlier milestones include the reward for assisting in the defeat of Demon Lord Diablos, repeated level-ups after the rock’s movement and encounters, and later experience gains that push the system into overflow. Those rewards establish a pattern in which action is translated into numbers. The Magma Core breakthrough extends that pattern by adding cultivation and energy conversion to the same escalating structure.
The distinction between the systems is important. Ordinary level-ups are announced through experience totals such as 25 out of 20, 100 out of 70, 400 out of 250, and 1,000 out of 1,000, with excess experience discarded. Magma Core Realm, by contrast, is achieved through magical conversion and records energy, core heat, magic, and progress toward the next realm. The rock’s growth is therefore simultaneously procedural and alchemical: the interface counts it, but the stone also becomes a hotter and more powerful object.
Narrative Significance
Magma Core Realm turns the rock’s accumulated violence, luck, and theft into a new physical identity. The four adventurers’ equipment is not simply collected as treasure; it is stripped of its previous ownership and remade inside the protagonist. That conversion reinforces the story’s recurring refusal to separate matter, power, and status. A stone can absorb what others value, cultivate through it, and emerge with an energy-producing core.
The breakthrough also intensifies the story’s contrast between immense power and absurdly simple form. The subject reaching 100,000 watts and 700 K remains a rock, and its advancement is narrated through the same blunt system notices that govern experience overflow and error conditions. The result is both progression fantasy and mechanical satire: a supposedly inert object follows a recognizable cultivation ladder, but does so by turning adventurers’ equipment into heat while celebrating the sight of the mountain’s bottom.
As a threshold, Magma Core Realm prepares the next movement without resolving the journey. The system sets progress to the next realm at zero out of 1,000 even as the rock’s core becomes hotter than before. Arrival is thus written as renewed departure. The rock has not reached the end of its growth or descent; it has acquired the internal force required to continue, carrying a new furnace within a body that still appears to be nothing more than stone.
