Planet Dirt Destroyed State

Rock Falls, Everyone Dies

Planet Dirt Destroyed State names the condition of Planet Dirt after the rock collides with it and the resulting destruction reaches a planetary scale. Its decisive significance is not merely that a world is damaged, but that the inhabited planet is erased as a functioning home: the music that connected the rock to Novice Bard Rihito disappears, the world’s inhabitants are lost, and the surviving rock becomes the nucleus of a new planetary existence.

From Warning to Catastrophe

The state is prepared by a chain of escalating alerts and failed defenses. The system first identifies an approaching Class 10 Doomsday Meteor and reports that it will strike Planet Dirt in 230 years, offering bonus experience for stopping it. The planet therefore has advance notice, but the warning does not produce an effective solution. When the final crisis arrives, an emergency broadcast announces that the world will end in 60 minutes and warns of meteor showers.

The planet’s defenders attempt to organize a response. The Mages gather in a hurried remote conference and argue over who will receive the glory of saving the world, before practicality leads them to select Supreme Grand Magus Oldivar, whose earlier foretelling identified the landing zone. Mana from across the world is routed to him through remote connections and ancient treasures, briefly placing the planet’s collective power at his fingertips. The city beneath the mountain also possesses defenses and is accustomed to dealing with Dragon flights, while Heroes stand ready to oppose the descending threat. These institutions and champions establish the scale of the world’s resistance, but they cannot alter the outcome.

The Impact and Immediate Ruin

The rock reaches the planet despite the organized defense. A Hero’s sword cuts through 1,000 meters of the rock after the rock activates Diamond Skin, but 9,000 meters remain, and a core full of Qi repairs the damage. The Hero collapses in despair atop the mountain as the villain waits beneath the sky. This failed intervention exposes the structural impossibility of the defense: even destroying the rock into fragments would leave those fragments falling, while sending it back upward would create a continuing meteor shower. The rock would eventually return, larger than before.

The collision is recorded by the system as an enormous numerical event. The rock deals 14,959,787,069,100 multiplied by 108,304.2, multiplied by 1.2, divided by 4, for a total of 486,062,331,206,766,100 damage to Novice Bard Rihito and Planet Dirt. The impact also produces splash damage to ERROR_OVERLOAD entities, and the system must repeatedly pause while resolving the result. The number makes the destruction legible as a game statistic, but the narrative gives the statistic an emotional counterpoint: the music stops, and the rock understands that the silence is permanent.

A World Reduced to Silence

The destroyed state is defined as much by absence as by physical devastation. The rock has never truly lost anything before, but it recognizes that the music will not return. The brutal symphony of destruction gives way to silence, even as the numbers continue to rise. As its domain expands, the rock hears the shattering of earth and sundered mountains rather than the music it wants. It sinks deeper toward the center of the planet in search of relief, only to encounter more silence.

The shockwave travels around the planet, and the system calculates additional splash damage involving 201,021,321 civilians and 51,223,001,123 birds before producing an integer-overflow error. The scale of these figures marks the collapse of ordinary distinctions between individual casualties and planetary destruction. The rock does not properly process the numbers as it descends through the earth into the mantle. It remains still when the planet gives a final dying shudder and when a presence fades away around it, an extinction that grants the rock the title Kinslayer.

Planetary Fusion and Transformation

After the destruction, the system identifies the rock as a level 12 Planet and begins the planetary fusion process. The rock accepts the prompt without examining the results, wanting only for the system’s notices to disappear. It does not watch itself grow or observe its merger with the surrounding matter, yet the process turns the destroyed world’s substance into the basis of a being larger than anything before it.

This transformation makes Planet Dirt Destroyed State a transitional condition rather than a simple endpoint. Planet Dirt is no longer the blue world of continents, clouds, cities, defenders, and music. Its destroyed shell becomes material for the rock’s expansion, and the former planet is absorbed into a new planetary body. Survival therefore carries an ambivalent consequence: the rock’s advancement is achieved through the annihilation of the world that had been its home.

Witness and Aftermath

The condition is confirmed from outside the destroyed world when Solara opens a portal and arrives in a hellscape. Below her lies the burning and crushed landscape that used to be Planet Dirt. She remembers having been there only two days earlier and cannot understand how the entire planet has been destroyed. Her senses search for a living being capable of explaining what happened, but find none at first.

Her search eventually reaches the planet’s center, where she detects something powerful and immense. The being stretches across the burning landscape, sits in silence, and slowly expands while assimilating the shell of the former planet. Solara identifies it as a new Planet and forms a mental connection with it. This encounter converts the destroyed state into a revelation: the apparent death of Planet Dirt conceals the birth of a new planetary entity, but the new existence offers no restoration of the lost world, its people, or its music.
