Planetoid Domain Realm

Rock Falls, Everyone Dies

The Planetoid Domain Realm is a cultivation state in which the awakened stone’s understanding, physical capacity, and sphere of influence expand beyond the planetary surface. Its decisive significance is not merely numerical advancement: by recognizing that the planet, the sun, sand, and the stone are all fundamentally rocks, the stone acquires a new ontology and begins to act as a celestial being rather than as an object moved by other powers.

Path to the Realm

The realm becomes possible after the stone has spent five hundred years apparently doing nothing. In the sealed space where it waits, stillness becomes a form of cultivation, and the system eventually announces that it is eligible for the Cultivator subclass. The stone’s capacity to let time pass without movement is therefore retrospectively recast as preparation rather than inactivity. Its awakening to cultivation begins with patience: the quality that seems most inert becomes the condition for progression.

The later breakthrough is tied to independence. The stone realizes that borrowed power allows other beings to carry it toward their own purposes, and resolves that it must complete its path through its own strength. Only after making that decision does it fully extend its senses into the surrounding universe. The realm thus follows both a mechanical condition and a conceptual one: the system records advancement, but the stone’s altered understanding gives the advancement its meaning.

Philosophical Breakthrough

The stone’s expanded perception reveals the planet below as a blue body with green continents and clouds. What had previously seemed like the entire world is suddenly visible as an immense rock. The glowing body beyond it is likewise understood as another rock, distinguished by luminosity and distance rather than by a fundamentally different nature. From this perspective, even grains of sand belong to the same material kinship.

The stone’s conclusion is that everything is rock at its core. Differences remain real, but they are differences of scale and power rather than absolute categories of being. The system immediately registers this insight as a philosophical breakthrough and awards a level increase. The Planetoid Domain Realm therefore converts a change in perception into a change in status: knowledge of common material nature becomes an advancement mechanism.

Measured Abilities

Upon reaching the realm, the stone becomes a level-seven Cultivator and receives a substantial increase in its measurable capacities. Its energy level rises to 100 MW, while its core heat reaches 2000K. A new statistic, domain size, is unlocked and set at 1.0 km, defining the initial extent of the field it can project or inhabit. Further progress requires another breakthrough rather than an automatically available increase.

The realm also grants the ability Kin of Stone. Through it, the stone can sense other members of its kind within the solar system. This ability extends its awareness from immediate surroundings to a planetary and astronomical network, making distant matter perceptible as related rather than alien. The domain field itself feels familiar to the stone because it resembles the field first encountered during cultivation inside the Bone Zone, but the scale now belongs to the stone rather than to a dungeon environment.

From Projectile to Celestial Actor

Before this development, the stone’s movement is repeatedly shaped by external forces and uses. Goblins notice it on a battlefield and attempt to claim it because enchanted tools are beyond their means. A Bone Core panics when the intruder in its Bone Zone refuses to stop. A Dragon seizes the stone as a weapon for throwing at intruders who covet its hoard. Even a magical command such as Greater Reverse Gravity can suddenly redirect its momentum upward.

The Planetoid Domain Realm does not erase those earlier forms of dependence, but it establishes the principle that they must not define the stone’s future. Its new domain and solar-system awareness prepare it for encounters beyond the familiar world: immediately afterward, the narrative places it in the vastness of space, where mobile suits advance near the edge of its solar system and sensors warn of a rapidly approaching object. The stone’s scale has become large enough for spacefaring beings and celestial hazards to enter the same field of action.

Later Development and Significance

The realm is a transitional state rather than the stone’s final form. The stone eventually reaches level twelve as a Planet and begins the planetary fusion process, accepting the system’s prompt without examining the new numbers or watching itself grow into the largest surrounding body. Later, as a planet, it turns toward creation, experimenting across eons and millennia until it can sculpt trees from gemstones with emerald leaves that ring in the wind.

That later beauty gives the Planetoid Domain Realm an important retrospective function. The realm is the moment when the stone ceases to see size as a boundary between kinds of existence. Once planet, sun, sand, and stone can all be understood as variations within one material continuum, growth can proceed from thrown pebble to planetoid, from planetoid to planet, and from planet to creator of elaborate forms. The state is therefore both a cultivation milestone and the narrative hinge on which the book’s world expands from dungeon-scale adventure into cosmic geology and planetary genesis.
