Quiet Resistance

Quiet Resistance
Doubts become a network
Sounders emerge from within the Air Force as personnel who oppose the planned invasion. They use their positions to protect prisoners, disrupt construction, and sometimes spare targets.
Small acts are not enough
Their resistance has not yet stopped the war. The growing threat forces them to seek a decisive plan rather than continue only with covert obstruction.
The Nuclear Plan

The Nuclear Plan
Recreating the initiating event
The Sounders plan to detonate a nuclear device inside the future dome, hoping to reverse the conditions that created the Bridge. Even failure might release enough radiation to delay the invasion.
A two-sided operation
The plan requires a defense of the future dome and control of the past-side dome. The Sounders need SYLO to supply the force they lack.
Recruiting the Past

Recruiting the Past
The necessary alliance
The Sounders explain that only SYLO can secure the dome in the past. Tucker, Tori, and Kent agree to cross back and persuade their former adversaries to intervene.
Trust across enemy lines
The alliance requires both sides to set aside prior injuries long enough to act against a common threat. The children become the link because SYLO knows them and might believe their account.
The Two-Front Defense

The Two-Front Defense
One team takes the drones
Sokol’s commandos seize the future-side control center while Sounders move the nuclear device toward the dome. Their actions are synchronized across the Bridge.
The past-side assault begins
Once drone control shifts, the captured aircraft attack the camp’s antiaircraft guns. SYLO can then move ground forces toward the dome without facing the same air threat.
The Bridge Sealed

The Bridge Sealed
The entrance becomes vulnerable
The Air Force brings heavy aircraft against the Sounder defense. Colonel Pike is struck, and Olivia realizes that an open entrance could let someone deactivate the device.
Olivia closes the doors
Olivia activates the dome’s sealing mechanism. The future dome closes, trapping her on the far side while protecting the countdown from interference.
