The Core Consolidation
Systema Delenda EstMisse’s rise transforms the System from a decentralized, exploitative network into a centralized regime built around emergency authority.

A Hidden Administrative Order

A Hidden Administrative Order
Fragmented Authority
The System is managed through Interfaces, World Deities, clans, and local administrators. No single visible ruler appears to control every process.
Political Stagnation
The Great Clans compete over worlds and essence while pretending that the System’s arrangements are natural. Frontier suffering is treated as an acceptable cost of stability.
A Vulnerable Structure
Cato’s attacks reveal that the decentralized hierarchy is slow to share information and poorly equipped for an enemy outside its assumptions.
Misse Claims the Core

Misse Claims the Core
An Abandoned Seat
Misse enters the True Core and finds that its protections and ownership have lapsed after millions of years. The vacancy gives her authority no ordinary deity possesses.
Administrative Supremacy
She claims the Core Interface and gains control over world elevation, portals, essence flows, and System structure. The System stops being merely inherited tradition and becomes her instrument.
A New Regime
Misse presents her authority as a transcendent duty, but the result is personal centralization. Muar becomes her chosen adviser while the clans become subjects of her emergency government.
The Frontier Severance

The Frontier Severance
A Strategic Retreat
Misse concludes that the frontier consumes more essence than it produces while Cato uses it as a network of infiltration points. She decides that abandoning it is cheaper than defending it.
Forced Evacuation
World Deities are detached from their worlds and the inhabitants receive one-way portals to a Core preserve. The policy treats entire civilizations as disposable infrastructure.
Cato’s Counteroffensive
Cato activates The Phage, mass digitization, and industrial forces across the frontier. He liberates worlds rapidly because Misse has removed the local gods who could have slowed him.
The Core Retreat

The Core Retreat
A Sustained Stellar Attack
Cato’s Nicoll-Dyson beams bathe the Core in the output of multiple stars. The attack is designed to drain essence rather than win through one explosive strike.
Shrinking the System
Misse moves Core Worlds into estates, abandons War Worlds, and restricts the System to the True Core and its essence font. She believes reducing the protected area will make Cato’s weapon irrelevant.
A Fatal Miscalculation
The retreat concentrates the System instead of saving it. Cato’s beam reaches the remaining structure, and the reaction becomes catastrophic when ordinary physics returns around the abandoned War Worlds.
The System’s Death

The System’s Death
The Font Runs Dry
Misse and Muar discard worlds, estates, gods, and possessions in an attempt to feed the True Core. Eventually there is nothing left except the Core and the font.
Cosmic Collapse
The font empties, the System disappears, and a supernova and black hole consume the central structure. The System’s attempt to evade entropy ends in an astronomical expression of entropy.
A New Beginning
Surviving Cato settlements and postbiological communities inherit the scattered aftermath. The campaign ends, but reconstruction, culture, and interstellar communication become the next historical project.
