Deception and Financial Exploitation
The Beki CEO Got Me PregnantDeception and Financial Exploitation is the pattern by which Vixon treats Yohan’s affection as a means to obtain money and uses lies to protect that opportunity. Her private calculations contrast with the trust she claims to have won from him; the same habit of manipulation also draws Xan into a plan against Yohan and Kazumi and leaves Zhara facing an unwanted pregnancy without Vixon’s support.
The Financial Motive
Vixon states the underlying bargain plainly in a confrontation with Kazumi: she does not care about Yohan as a person, wants his money, and intends to begin courting him once he admits his feelings. She reads his actions as evidence that he has a crush on her and treats that affection as leverage she can convert into financial gain. The scheme depends not on a relationship she values, but on Yohan’s belief that his feelings might be returned.
Kazumi answers by accusing Vixon of stringing Yohan along and threatens to tell him what Vixon is doing. Vixon counters that Yohan will believe her instead, asserting that she has already secured his trust. That confidence turns the dispute into a contest over credibility: Vixon expects that an established bond with Yohan will outweigh Kazumi’s warning, even though Kazumi is describing the financial motive directly.
The argument becomes physical. Kazumi throws a hard object from her bag, which hits Vixon on the head; Vixon threatens that Kazumi will pay, while Kazumi continues to defy her. The exchange makes visible the hostility beneath the quieter strategy of winning Yohan’s confidence. Vixon’s pursuit of money is not merely a concealed intention: when challenged, she relies on her perceived influence over Yohan to dismiss the possibility that the truth will matter.
Lies and the Management of Trust
In her own point-of-view narration, Vixon celebrates having persuaded Yohan that she and Zhara worked on a painting together. In fact, she says, she bought the painting rather than making it, and had no intention of making an effort for Yohan. The distinction between the story she gives him and the version she privately records makes the deception explicit: even a supposed shared activity is fabricated to sustain his impression of closeness.
Vixon also sends Yohan a conversation involving Kazumi. She knows the conversation concerned one of Kazumi’s friends, but lets Yohan believe that Kazumi was talking about him. She then congratulates herself on how easily he is fooled. This second lie does more than disguise Vixon’s conduct: it redirects Yohan’s interpretation of Kazumi and shows her using information selectively to create a false impression between them.
These episodes give the financial scheme a broader method. Vixon’s private account identifies money as her objective, while her actions shape the evidence Yohan receives about her and about Kazumi. The purchased painting and misrepresented conversation are distinct acts, but both preserve Vixon’s advantage by making Yohan’s trust easier to exploit.
Recruiting Xan Against Yohan and Kazumi
Later, Vixon grows impatient while waiting for Xan, because the two have agreed on a plan to separate Yohan and Kazumi. Her allocation of motives is blunt: she wants Yohan for his money, while Xan is meant to pursue Kazumi. Vixon also says that she likes Kazumi, but treats that feeling as secondary to money. The plan therefore turns both relationships into instruments: Yohan is the financial target, and Xan is recruited to disrupt the bond that might draw him away from Vixon.
Vixon sends Xan to Yohan’s Mansion after observing that Yohan and Kazumi have come to live under the same roof. She instructs Xan to insult Yohan, expecting that the attack will make Kazumi come to her senses. The arrangement depends on provoking conflict rather than persuading either person honestly. It also exposes a contradiction in Vixon’s stated preference: although she says she likes Kazumi, she is willing to use Xan to wound the household and undermine Kazumi’s relationship with Yohan.
When Xan later begs Yohan to give him another chance and says Vixon forced him to act, Vixon watches from a distance. Yohan rejects Xan’s excuse and confronts his behavior toward the women seated beside him at work. He says he had noticed the harassment and had moved the women away, placing male colleagues beside Xan instead. The confrontation shows that the plot against Yohan has entered the workplace, where Xan’s conduct has consequences beyond the private scheme Vixon devised. Vixon’s role in recruiting him becomes a matter of dispute, not a secret she can control unchallenged.
Exposure and Consequences
In a later confrontation, Yohan makes Vixon and Zhara sit down and asks Zhara to explain what Vixon has done. Zhara recounts that she and Vixon had sex in the office. Weeks later, after noticing signs of pregnancy, she bought a pregnancy test and received a positive result. She recalls that she and Vixon were absent together and that she told him she was pregnant; she had expected him to take responsibility, but says he cursed at her and drove her away instead.
As Zhara gives her account, Vixon looks to Yohan and fears losing her job because she needs his money. The immediate focus on her employment reveals that the financial motive remains active even as the personal cost of her actions is laid out in front of her. Zhara’s pregnancy also gives the deception and exploitation a consequence beyond the struggle for Yohan’s trust: Vixon has denied responsibility to someone with whom she had sex, while continuing to depend on Yohan as a source of income.
A quieter scene elsewhere shows Kazumi coming downstairs still sleepy as they prepare to leave; Nestor drives, and Kazumi tucks her hair behind her ear. That ordinary departure does not itself expose Vixon’s plan, but it contrasts with the calculated arrangements surrounding Yohan’s household and workplace. Across the episodes, deception moves from a stated money motive to fabricated intimacy, redirected suspicion, recruited interference, and finally the disclosure of a pregnancy Vixon has refused to acknowledge responsibly.
