Egletons

Egletons, a small town in Corrèze, is a hinge in the pursuit of The Jackal: a place where his improvised escape route briefly meets the police search. He approaches it on foot after hiding his car in the woods, uses its station and café as a way back into ordinary traffic, and later passes nearby in disguise while the police try to trace his movements.
