The Training Center is a tower designed exclusively for the tributes and their teams, with each district occupying an entire floor. The elevator is made of crystal, allowing occupants to watch the ground floor shrink to ants as they shoot upward. The quarters are larger than Katniss Everdeen's entire house back in District 12, plush and filled with automatic gadgets. The shower alone has a panel with more than a hundred options regulating water temperature, pressure, soaps, shampoos, scents, oils, and massaging sponges. A heater blow-dries the body upon stepping out, and a box sends a current through the scalp to untangle, part, and dry hair almost instantly. The windows zoom in and out on parts of the city at command, and food from a gigantic menu appears hot and steamy in less than a minute.
