Saturn
The Ownership Wars: Who Owns YouSaturn functions in the book as one of the most striking locations in David Icke’s conspiracy narrative: not merely a distant planet, but a supposed piece of alien infrastructure. Its rings are described as reptilian constructs that help broadcast the “five-sense prison,” an artificial sense of self and world through which humans mistake a manipulated perception for reality. Saturn therefore gives cosmic scale to the book’s account of domination, connecting terrestrial political control with an alleged technology operating across planetary and dimensional boundaries.
Saturn in the Reptilian Cosmology
Saturn appears within the mythology of a Babylonian Brotherhood made up of shapeshifting reptilian humanoids, also identified with the Illuminati. In this account, the reptilians are said to be driving humanity toward a global fascist state or New World Order. Saturn is not treated as an independent character or a physically explored environment; it is one component in the architecture through which that hidden power supposedly governs human experience.
The planet’s role is paired with that of the Moon. Both are presented as reptilian constructions, and together they are said to broadcast the signal that maintains humanity’s “five-sense prison.” The phrase names a condition in which ordinary human perception is reduced to an artificial model of reality. Saturn thus becomes a remote source of ideological captivity: the prison is not represented by walls, laws, or visible guards, but by the sensory framework through which people interpret the world.
Dimensional Power and Hidden Control
The Saturn image belongs to a broader explanation of how the reptilians could occupy and control Earth. The narrative places them not only on another planet but in another dimension, described as the lower level of the fourth dimension, or the lower astral dimension nearest to the physical world. The universe is consequently imagined as containing infinitely many dimensions occupying the same space, comparable to different television or radio frequencies. Human consciousness can supposedly tune into other wavelengths, while the Anunnaki control the planet from one of these dimensions and are themselves controlled by beings from a fifth dimension.
Within that structure, Saturn operates less like a conventional celestial body than like a transmitter in a layered communications system. Its rings are assigned an active technological function, while the dimensional theory supplies an explanation for an otherwise difficult question: how nonhuman rulers could remain present yet concealed. The result is a cosmology in which distance does not prevent power. Different dimensions share space, hidden signals shape perception, and a planet visible in the night sky becomes part of an invisible machinery of control.
Saturn and the Politics of False Reality
The Saturn conspiracy is linked to the book’s political concern with domination, false consciousness, and elite power. The text elsewhere describes capitalism and right-wing rule through images of slavery, plutocracy, and confinement, arguing that systems claiming to preserve freedom can place people inside structures that serve the wealthy. The Saturn mythology externalizes a similar pattern. Human beings are said to believe themselves free because the mechanism governing their perception remains hidden; the apparent world is already filtered before political judgment begins.
This connection also places Saturn beside the film They Live, where a concealed signal camouflages aliens and feeds subliminal messages to the population. In that comparison, the special sunglasses reveal the dictatorship beneath democratic appearances. The book distinguishes this left-wing critique of unrestrained capitalism from right-wing conspiracy theories that identify the fictional aliens with Jews or the Illuminati. John Carpenter is cited as saying that the aliens represent yuppies and unrestrained capitalism, not Jewish control of the world. Saturn therefore belongs to the book’s larger argument about hidden signals and manufactured consciousness, but its political meaning is contested: the same imagery can be used either to expose economic domination or to redirect blame toward an imagined ethnic or extraterrestrial enemy.
Narrative Significance
Saturn’s significance comes from the tension between its scientific identity and its conspiratorial reinterpretation. It is transformed from a planet into a symbol of concealed mediation, a remote object allegedly participating in the production of everyday reality. The narrative does not develop evidence for Saturn as an inhabited scene; instead, it uses the planet to enlarge a theory in which earthly institutions, alien beings, dimensional hierarchies, and human perception form one system.
That enlargement is also part of the book’s critical irony. The text mocks the escalating logic of the theory by asking readers to imagine not only fourth-dimensional reptilians but also a fifth-dimensional Illuminati, and even an infinite-dimensional Illuminati identified with the Pythagorean Illuminati. Saturn consequently marks the point where political suspicion becomes cosmic metaphysics. Its rings are made to carry the weight of a total explanation: they are imagined as instruments through which an unseen elite can shape what humanity takes the world to be.
