Russian Revolution

The Russian Revolution is named as one of the major historical upheavals experienced by the narrator’s parents. The account does not describe its events or their specific effects; instead, it places the Revolution within a family history shaped by repeated political violence, suffering, and loss, and uses that accumulated past to frame the catastrophe that followed.
