Geevor Tin Mine

Geevor Tin Mine is a former working tin mine in Cornwall whose closure marked the end of an era of metal mining in the county. Its flooded shafts and the industrial ruins around it make the site a record of both the scale of extraction and the later effort to preserve mining heritage.
