Ron Lafferty—Dan Lafferty

Ron Lafferty and Dan Lafferty’s relationship turned a purported revelation into a shared course of violence. Ron received and recorded the command; Dan helped decide that it was genuine and acted on it with him. Their partnership encompassed the killing of Brenda Lafferty and her baby, an attempted continuation of the plan, and a flight across state lines. It also left a consequential dispute over which brother killed Brenda, even as the account makes clear that both were culpable in the attack.
