The Annual Broadcast

The Annual Broadcast A Broadcast Interrupts the Evening A program interrupts Elena, Lucille, and Rosa's film night to mark the destruction of Etan sixteen years earlier. The annual tradition forces the catastrophe back into the household. History Made Present Elena sees footage of the former capital before the disaster and then watches the report turn to flames and panic. The broadcast presents a lost society as more than a distant name.

The Creepers Advance

The Creepers Advance A City Overrun Home footage shows Creepers breaking through the ground, growing, and engulfing Etan. People who attempt to cross them are torn apart by the monstrous roots. A Boundary of Loss Dragons struggle to restrain a Swallow Annex as the camera records its distress. The footage turns catastrophe into spectacle, and Elena feels anger at the intrusiveness of the people filming.

A Candlelit Farewell

A Candlelit Farewell Mourning at the Line Survivors gather behind a yellow line near the Creepers, carrying candles or creating light with their abilities. Flowers and photographs honor the people and rulers they lost. Grief Beyond the Border The public tribute shows Paegeia mourning together while remaining unable to recover what lies beyond the barrier. Elena recognizes how the destruction continues to define families years after the event.
