Unregistered Origins

Unregistered Origins A Missing Record Lucille says Elena and her father were never registered on the other side, a fact that remains a mystery. Elena remembers only waking at the Academy after Matt brought her through the Wall. Safety Without Answers Lucille assures her that she is safe now, but cannot explain why her father avoided registration. The reassurance offers emotional shelter without resolving Elena's history.

The Enchanted Transit

The Enchanted Transit Tubes and Destinations Elena learns that enchanted elevators transport passengers to local destinations or beyond Paegeia. Their continuous movement replaces the planes she expected with a magical system she has never seen. A Regulated Gateway The green tubes lead out of Paegeia, while dragons working at airports help manage travel beyond the boundary. The scale of the system shows how magic and administration shape ordinary movement.

The Cost of a Disguise

The Cost of a Disguise A Failed Crossing Lucille recounts how a human tried to enter disguised as a dragon and was disintegrated by the Wall. The incident led attendants to search dragons thoroughly. A Rule Made From Fear The story makes clear that crossing protections are enforced through lethal consequences. Elena's wonder at the transport center gives way to respect for rules designed after catastrophe.
