Ashwinder

The Ashwinder is a thin, pale-grey serpent with glowing red eyes, formed when a magical fire is left to burn unchecked for too long. Its connection to neglected fire makes it both a creature of magical excess and a warning about what can emerge when that force is allowed to run on without control.

Rather than appearing as an ordinary animal that happens upon the flames, it rises from the embers themselves.
