Role in Humbert's Interrogation

Later, during the cross-country journey, Humbert interrogates Lolita about her sexual history, specifically seeking the name of the girl who first instructed her in "various manipulations" at a previous summer camp. Lolita initially refuses to name her, but Humbert, using his knowledge of the class list, guesses several names, including "Was it Grace Angel?" Lolita shakes her head, denying it, and eventually reveals the girl was Elizabeth Talbot.
