Tom's Romantic Melodrama

Tom's spirits are high at supper, but he sulks after being wrongly blamed for breaking a sugar bowl. He fantasizes about dying and being mourned, then wanders to Becky's house. He lies under her window, playing dead, but a maid douses him with water. He flees, breaking a window.
