The Chase The Pursuit The hedge animals come to life and chase Danny. He runs for his life. The Injury A lion scratches his leg. The wound is real. The hotel's evil is not just internal. The Escape Danny reaches the hotel. He is terrified but alive. He has faced the hotel's external threat.

The Possessed Father

The Final Enemy The Confrontation Danny faces Jack, who is possessed by the hotel. He must confront the most dangerous entity: his own father. The Words Danny speaks to the hotel through Jack. He tells it that it lies. He breaks its hold. The Victory Jack turns on himself. Danny has defeated the hotel by using love and truth. He has overcome the ultimate test.
