The Invisible Friend

The Guide The Friend Tony is Danny's invisible friend. He appears in visions and shows Danny things. The Help Tony helped Danny find his father's lost trunk. He is a positive force. The Mystery Danny does not know who Tony really is. He only knows Tony is a friend.

The Nightmares

The Dark Visions The Change Tony's visions become nightmares. He shows Danny the Overlook's horrors: REDRUM, the dead woman, the chase. The Fear Danny is terrified. He tries to avoid Tony, but the visions come anyway. The Warning Tony is warning Danny of the danger. He is trying to prepare him.

The Revelation

The Truth The Meeting In a deep trance, Danny meets Tony in a strange hallway. Tony reveals that he is Danny's future self. The Guidance Tony tells Danny that he must face the hotel alone. He cannot help because the hotel is too strong. The Farewell Tony fades away. Danny must now rely on himself. The revelation gives Danny strength.
