Ender's breakdown and recovery

After learning that he has destroyed the Bugger homeworld, Ender falls into a deep depression. He sleeps for days and has nightmares about the destruction. He is cared for by Graff and Mazer, who try to explain that he was tricked because he needed to believe it was a game. Ender feels that he is a murderer and that he has become like Peter. He is isolated and alone, but eventually his friends from Battle School, including Alai, Bean, and Petra, come to see him. They reassure him and help him begin to recover.
