The Forbidden Visitor

The Secret Meeting Favell's Visit While Maxim was away, Favell came to Manderley to see Mrs Danvers. The narrator discovered him. The Request Favell asked the narrator not to tell Maxim. She agreed, but she was uneasy. Maxim's Anger When Maxim found out, he was furious. He forbade Favell from ever coming to Manderley again.
