Tucker and Tori Subdue Feit

Strike

Tucker and Tori Sleeper Subdue Feit is the last close struggle between Tucker and the officer pursuing him: a fight over the nuclear device, the route through the Bridge, and whether Feit can still control the outcome. As the dome shudders around them, Tori helps Kent Berringer carry Olivia Kinsey toward the Bridge, then turns back to stop Feit. She makes the bomb impossible to shut down; Tucker, battered and nearly disarmed, uses Kent’s Pulser to knock Feit into the Bridge.

A Fight Under a Closing Deadline

The confrontation begins when Feit turns from the bomb and comes face-to-face with Tucker. Tucker tells him, “It’s already too late,” then tackles him and knocks him away from the device. The attack gives Tucker only a brief advantage: Feit recovers quickly and tries to bring his Pulser around to fire at close range. Tucker grabs the weapon, and the two struggle over it, neither able to turn the contest into a clean shot.

The fight is unfolding alongside an escape. Kent is struggling to lift the limp Olivia, and Tori breaks away from the struggle to help him. She helps get Olivia into Kent’s arms and orders him through the Bridge before the dome shuts. The scene divides the group’s immediate task: Kent must carry Olivia to safety, while Tucker remains locked in combat with Feit and Tori stays behind to intervene.

A violent shock from outside rocks the dome and shifts the floor beneath the fighters. Tucker loses his balance, giving Feit the leverage to pull himself up; both men still have their hands on the Pulser. The tremor does not resolve the fight, but it alters its balance. Tucker must keep hold of the weapon while the structure around him is being shaken by forces beyond the struggle itself.

Tori Turns the Weapon on the Bomb

After the shock throws Tucker off balance again, Feit wrenches the Pulser from his grip. Tucker lunges for it, but Feit strikes him in the temple with an elbow and backs away, aiming at Tucker’s head. The advantage shifts sharply: Tucker is down and struggling to remain conscious, while Feit can return to the bomb.

Tori steps into the line between Feit and the Bridge, kneels, and aims her own Pulser at him. Feit keeps his weapon trained on Tucker, creating a standoff in which neither opponent has fully committed to the other. When another boom shakes the dome, Feit spins and fires at Tori. She dives aside and fires not at Feit but at the keypad beside the countdown clock. Her shot hits its target and fries the controls.

The distinction matters: Tori does not stop the countdown or disarm the bomb. She destroys the means of entering the shutdown codes, while the clock continues. Feit runs to the device and claws at the melted keypad, as if its useless keys could still accept instructions. He then accuses Tori of destroying their chance to escape the future’s ruined conditions. Tori remains on one knee, aiming at him, and answers, “It’s better than you deserve.” Her choice prevents Feit from using the bomb’s controls, but it also leaves the countdown running.

The Standoff Reverses

Feit breaks away toward the dome’s closed door. Tori pulls the trigger, but her Pulser misfires; trying again produces nothing. The failure leaves her exposed, and Feit laughs before changing direction to retrieve the weapon he dropped. He believes he still has time to finish her personally.

Instead, Feit turns to find Tucker facing him with Kent’s Pulser leveled at him. Tucker has survived the blow and regained a weapon, reversing the scene’s immediate power balance. Feit’s confidence gives way to shock as Tucker fires. The first pulse hits him squarely and knocks him backward, though he tries to keep his balance. Tucker fires a second time, and the jolt knocks Feit off his feet and sends him disappearing into the Bridge.

Outcome and Significance

The outcome is a narrow, divided success rather than a complete escape from danger. Tori saves Kent and Olivia from the fight by directing them through the Bridge, and her shot disables the bomb’s shutdown keypad. Tucker stops Feit from returning to the weapon by defeating him with Kent’s Pulser. But the countdown is still continuing, and the dome continues to rock; Feit’s removal does not itself resolve the immediate threat posed by the device.

The scene turns on repeated reversals: Tucker first wrests the initiative from Feit, then loses his weapon; Tori holds Feit at gunpoint, then her Pulser fails; Feit recovers his weapon, only to face Tucker with another one. Against those reversals, Tori’s shot is decisive for a different reason. She chooses to destroy the keypad rather than shoot Feit, while Tucker’s final intervention prevents Feit from acting on the opening her misfire creates. Their actions divide the confrontation’s result between them: Tori takes away Feit’s access to the bomb’s controls, and Tucker sends him into the Bridge.
