Louis Carries Gage's Body to the Micmac Burying Ground

Louis carries his son's wrapped body through the woods, past the Pet Sematary, and over the deadfall. He crosses the eerie Little God Swamp, where he encounters terrifying supernatural phenomena, including a disembodied, leering face and the immense, unseen presence of the Wendigo. Despite his exhaustion and terror, Louis reaches the Micmac burying ground, a high plateau covered with ruined cairns. He digs a grave in the stony soil and buries Gage, building a cairn over the spot. He then makes his way back home, collapsing from exhaustion.
