Introduction to Ludovico's Technique

Alex is transferred to the white building within the prison complex, where he meets Dr. Branom and Dr. Brodsky. He is given a comfortable room, good food, and injections that he believes are vitamins. He is told that he will be shown films as part of his treatment. Alex is initially pleased, thinking he will be watching regular movies. The doctors are friendly and reassuring, but the true nature of the treatment is not yet revealed. This scene marks the beginning of Alex's 'reclamation' and sets up the central conflict of Part Two: the state's attempt to condition him into goodness.
