He convinces the Fremen that Arrakis can become a paradise within centuries. His ecological lectures become scripture to the desert people.
Founding Dream
Kynes plants the idea of an Arrakis covered in grass and open water. His son Liet-Kynes will inherit the mission.

Kynes' ecological charts and plantings continue among the Fremen in the south. Chani, his daughter, becomes Paul's concubine and the guardian of the dream.
Stilgar's Promise
Stilgar still speaks of open water for Arrakis when Paul becomes emperor. The dream is absorbed into Paul's imperial promise.
Unfinished Eden
Paul must keep desert for spice, but he promises garden land for the Fremen. Kynes' vision lives inside the new empire.
