Theremon and Siferra leave for Amgando

Theremon decides not to join the Fire Patrol, seeing it as a nascent dictatorship. He convinces Siferra to leave with him and travel to Amgando to warn the provisional government about the approaching Apostles. They begin a long, perilous journey south along the Great Southern Highway, navigating a landscape of wreckage and chaos.
